Get to know the way Seating works.
What is Seating?
Seating is an online seating chart maker for weddings, corporate events and celebrations. Create a venue layout, manage your guest list, assign tables and export the guest list as a CSV.
Can I bring my existing guest list?
Yes. Export your spreadsheet as CSV and upload it to Seating, or add guests individually. Only a name column is required.
Can I keep certain guests together or apart?
Yes. Set must-sit-with and must-not-sit-with preferences. Seating flags conflicts as you assign guests so you can resolve them before the event.
Does Seating automatically assign every guest?
No. You stay in control of the assignments. Drag guests, move groups, swap people or use the table selector, with capacity and preference checks along the way.
Can I try it before signing in?
Yes. The interactive example on this site lets you explore a sample seating plan without an account. Sign in with Google to create and save your own events.
How do I share the finished assignments?
Export the guest list and table assignments as a CSV from your event workspace. Review the included preference fields and remove private details before sharing a copy.
